Yoga Descriptions:
All classes at Home Yoga are taught in a heated studio with the exception of our second studio and kids classes. The heat promotes a cleansing sweat encouraging a deep release in the body. We emphasize safe and intelligent movement combined with conscious breathing. The practice will teach you to untie the physical and emotional knots that bind you. Learn self acceptance, compassion and the art of letting go.
Bliss/Level 1 ~Enjoy this slower paced flow practice where we explore both the individual movements of the sun salutations and the poses that make up the vinyasa practice. This class is open to all levels and is a wonderful place to begin if you are new to yoga or are interested in a slower pace to deepen your understanding of vinyasa.
Yogalicious/Level 1-2 ~ Our dynamic vinyasa flow class incorporates a variety of strength building standing postures, balancing poses, and core work connected by the movements of sun salutations. This class is open to all levels.
Melt/Level 2 ~ This is an awesome opportunity to push yourself a bit further! Using the breath as a guide, you will move through an invigorating and inspiring practice where you'll be encouraged to find the balance between effort and grace in each of your poses.
Power ~ This is an open class. In this fun, challenging class you will move, sweat and breathe like you never have before! The classes are always a little different, a creative and eclectic mix of traditional yoga poses linked together by the breath. You will build stability, strength and stamina.
Brand New Beginners
This introduction to the fundamentals of yoga will teach you correct alignment, breathing techniques and relaxation. Increase flexibility as you strengthen, tone and revitalize your body. Perfect for students new to yoga and for those who wish to reaquaint themselves with the basics. 6 week series ~ Wednesdays 6:05-7:20pm September 24th - October 29th Pre-registration required/$100
Please note that all postures can be modified to suit an individual students needs. Like any practice, the more time you dedicate to it, the more you can learn.
